Lauren Schultis holds a master’s degree in both Business Administration and Public Administration with a concentration in Urban Planning. She brings over ten years of experience in the energy industry to the RBI team. Prior to joining RBI, Lauren worked as an energy trader and generator operator in PJM and ISO-NE. She also helped to develop company-wide FERC and NERC compliance procedures and policy feedback. Lauren joins the power department to work with budget rate design, supplemental power procurement and scheduling, maintenance for utility software, and regulatory policy reporting for two Joint Power Authorities. Her market experience will help to optimize the portfolio and assets of the Joint Power Authorities, providing value while continuing to meet obligations of the CAISO, California RPS, GHG, and Resource Adequacy.
